Why does this happen?

This error can occur for the following reasons:

  1. The Username you entered is incorrect
  2. The Password you entered is incorrect
  3. Your user does not actually have permissions to add a device

How can I fix this?

The username and password are the same ones you use to log into our Admin Site. This is not a technician's username and password that they login to SWRemote on a daily basis with. 

If you need to reset your password you can do this on the login screen for the Admin site, following the steps here. If you are unsure of your username or think you may not have the proper permissions, you can contact our support team at support@swremote.com or call us at 1-800-566-6940.
